PROJECT DESCRIPTION Flux is Atrandi Biosciences' microfluidic platform – precision hardware that demands packaging engineered to the same standard as the instrument inside it. The brief had two equally weighted objectives: protect the hardware through handling and shipping without compromise, and deliver an unboxing experience that matches the product's calibre. The result draws from the same visual language as high-end consumer technology – clean white structures, considered material choices, and a unboxing experience that makes the first open feel intentional. The packaging was designed and developed in partnership with Pinproof, nucleight's specialist packaging partner and a core part of the studio's network for projects requiring structural design and production expertise. SUSTAINABILITY – Eco-Friendly Materials: The packaging uses recyclable materials like corrugated cardboard and honeycomb structures, ensuring both protection and sustainability. – Space Optimization: Flat shipping design maximizes space, reducing emissions, and the no-glue construction enhances recyclability. – Protection Innovation: Minimal foam inserts are used only in critical areas, reducing waste while ensuring high-level protection.
